Sugar one of the sweeter commodities

Global demand for sugar has defied initial predictions and remains quite high.
The sugar price fell last Friday despite all other commodities experiencing gains.
Tom McNeill from Greenpool Commodities says the market initially rallied and then slid away which was "counter" to how general commodities had performed.
"We have seen some strong demand in the last couple of months."
"Demand will weaken from here on in as supply picks up."
